Internship Program - Western Australia
Outward Bound Australia aims to build stronger communities by inspiring Australians to discover, develop and achieve their potential through journey based experiential education.
Following the milestone of 20 years of operations in Western Australia, we now look ahead to further growth and development in this area of the country. An exciting development is the decision to launch an Internship Program in Western Australia.
Outward Bound is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and is at the forefront of training outdoor leaders and educators in Australia. We have been delivering the Internship program on the east coast since 1999 and intend to commence delivery of a similar program in Western Australia in the near future.
The 8 month Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation Program will be journey based, and provides you with all the relevant skills and qualifications (including Leaders Advanced Wilderness First Aid and Bronze Medallion) to become an outdoor professional.
Outward Bound Australia is an award winning Registered Training Organisation and therefore you can expect to be trained by a dedicated Learning and Development Team that places great importance on the development of our staff.
The Internship program will be delivered as a term based program, in line with the university holidays, allowing for part-time work to be undertaken during this time.
Successful graduates of the program may be offered full-time employment in WA, as instructors operating from our base camp.
