Action Learning Initiatives (ALI) is an outdoor education company based in Jindabyne NSW. It operates from Bungarra Alpine Centre, a 200 bed purpose built school program site located 3 km from Jindabyne. ALI specialises in summer & winter school programs based in the Snowy Mountains area & Kosciuszko National Park.

In its 12^th year of operation, ALI is well known for delivering quality programs for a diverse range of schools.

The ALI Program Director will be part of an existing team and reports to the Managing Director.

They will be responsible for:

• Program implementation
• Program design
• Sales & marketing
• Staff training & development

The position involves both field and office work. The Program Director will have a proven track record in outdoor recreation with relevant qualifications and experience who is prepared to commit to a position for a minimum of 3 -5 years.

A passion and knowledge of snow sports for our winter programs and experience in summer outdoor activities that include canoeing, camping, mountain biking, hiking and abseiling will allow them to successfully fulfil the job requirements.

Jindabyne is the heart of the Snowy Mountains region and gateway to the Kosciuszko National Park, where Thredbo & Perisher Blue resorts are located.  With a year-round population of approx 3,000 it offers first class facilities that supports a 10,000+ population in winter.  The town boasts both private and public primary and secondary schools, a warm & friendly town centre and an excellent year round outdoor playground with the lake and mountains at your doorstep.
