Operations Manager -
Inter-Action Experiential Learning

Salary Range - $43,000 - $47,500
We will employ an exceptional, committed, flexible, skilled and hard working individual who believes passionately in the value of outdoor education for young Australians to this position.
Start date September-October 2008.
Your commitment to Inter-Action will be for a minimum of 2 years. Applicants prepared to commit to three years or longer will considered favourably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating and mentoring instructing staff
- All program logisitcs management
- Maintenance of equipment
- Administration
- Customer Service before, after and during each program.
- Instructing as required
- Assistant to General Manager
Required:
- Exceptional facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills and experience
- High level administration, problem solving, project management, conflict resolution and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and liaison skills especially in assessing and meeting client needs.
- Program development and design skills
- Ability to review and maintain industry best practice in risk management
- Outdoor adventure pursuit facilitation skills and certification.
- Wilderness First Aid
- An interest or skills in environmental education
- Office skills and computer literacy with the Microsoft Suite of programs
- Preparedness to work flexible work hours
- Own transport & accommodation
