Trainer in Outdoor Recreation - Crusaders
(permanent, full time)

The Organisation:
Crusaders is an interdenominational Christian Youth Organisation whose vision it is to share the Christian message to school aged children and youth. To achieve this aim, we currently run over 140 camps per year where kids can have fun, make new friends, participate in adventurous activities as well as learn about matters of spiritual importance.

The Position:
The Trainer will work within ‘Crusaders Training’, an RTO, based at our Galston campsite in Sydney’s north west, and will develop, deliver and assess a range of training programs contained within the Outdoor Recreation and First Aid training packages. Trainees include Crusader staff and volunteers. An attractive package including a fully maintained car is offered.

Qualifications and experience needed:
Ideally the Trainer will have:

1. Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) or equivalent qualifications to comply as a Training Coordinator and Assessor as described in AQTF2007 Standard 1, Element 1.4
   
   
2. Cert III or IV (preferred) in Outdoor Recreation with currency in the clusters mentioned in the position description.
