During the 100 years celebration Scouts Australia - Activities NSW has recognised a few individuals who supply excellent service the to greater community.

At the recent ORIC Conference, The Region Commissioner Activities, Hume Region - Tim Riley, presented ORIC's Kirstin Peralta with a Scouts Australia - Activities NSW Ambassador Award recognising her involvement within the greater community, particularly the Outdoor Industry (ORIC) to be of a very high standard and bringing many benefits to the movement.

To say thank you for her efforts in supporting the community, Kirstin was offered a family day pass to the Scouts Air Activity Centre at Camden, a facility through which many youth have taken their first steps in aviation and gone onto roles in the military or commercial airlines.
