The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is an international youth development program providing young people from 14 years up to the age of 25 with opportunities to develop interests in skill development, community service, recreation and adventurous and challenging journeys.
The Award has undergone significant changes in both delivery and administration, with a new national website, corporate look, new Record Books and volunteer network meetings which provide information to coordinators and Registered Operators.
The Award is expanding its training program, establishing more partnerships with other community based organisations and youth programs and working more closely with isolated, indigenous and marginalised youth.
