Green Ambassadors Award

This is the third year that the Commonwealth Bank and Conservation Volunteers Australia have come together to recognise, reward and support 20 young Australians who demonstrate leadership in environmental conservation.

The Awards are open to all Australians aged between 16 and 23 years of age who are:

  • Actively participating in local Landcare, Bushcare, Coastcare or other community group undertaking practical conservation activities
  • Actively promoting or demonstrating environmental responsibility at your school  or campus
  • Actively contributing to environmental initiatives within various clubs outside of school or campus.

 

Green Ambassadors will receive:

  • Formal qualification - Certificate 1 in Active Volunteering
  • A digital camera to record experiences
  • Greater experience in conservation leadership through volunteering on a five day conservation experience with Conservation Volunteers Australia
  • Membership of Conservation Volunteers Australia
