RISK MANAGEMENT and OUTDOOR EDUCATION WORKSHOP
PRESTON B. CLINE
founding President of Adventure Management (USA)
presents a Workshop for ORIC and members
on Risk in the Outdoors
This workshop, for both Outdoor Leaders and Coordinators,
is designed to help participants identify sustainable risk management habits both in themselves and in their co-instructors.
Instead of reacting to crises as they appear, become self-correcting teams that trap, mitigate and void errors before they escalate into crisis.
The workshop is also designed to help with creating of training and management processes that enable
staff to trap, avoid or mitigate the errors that occur during program.
Preston Cline is a key note speaker at the National Outdoor Education Risk Management Conference Ballarat this month.

"It is our fundamental belief that the most successful risk management strategy available is the intentional development of positive relationships between you and your clients"
Adventure Management
"Organizations all over the world are moving groups of people from one location to another. To help manage the risks of those activities they have hired Institutional risk managers, such as attorneys and insurance providers, to tell them what actions to avoid. But in telling them what not to do, these experts, rarely help them determine what they should be doing. Adventure Management is focused on helping our clients develop operational strategies for interacting with uncertainty in a sustainable manner"
