International Camp Directors Course

This intensive course covers all things Camp Management over four days, at which you will share with other members of the Camping and Outdoor Community, building on skills and learning tricks of the trade.

Goal 1 - To present the basics of camp management in the core areas of the organized body of knowledge
Goal 2 - To expand their network of peers and develop a community of professionals in a "camp like" atmosphere
Goal 3 - To provide an introduction to self-directed learning and the participants' role in their own professional development process

To gain employment on these camps, you must complete the Sport and Recreation introductory Holiday Camp staff training.  Training is available to those who have:

• completed four years of secondary education
• turned 18 years of age and left high-school
