A reminder that nominations for this year's ORIC Industry Awards
close on Friday 20th July 2007

We encourage you to nominate individuals and organisations you believe have made a noteworthy contribution to the outdoor recreation and education industry in NSW for this year's Awards, to help raise the profile of outdoor recreation, and recognise those who have made outstanding contributions.

Nomination Form        Category Explanation       Award Conditions

The Award Categories are:

Outstanding Contribution to the Industry (Individual)
An individual (volunteer or employee) who has shown themselves to be committed to the industry and/or wider outdoor recreation community, upholding the highest standards in their roles through their professionalism and involvement in the broader outdoor community. This may have been achieved through providing an exceptional contribution resulting in significant outcomes, or through demonstrating a devotion to an organisation and/or wider outdoor community beyond the requirements of their role.

Outstanding Contribution to the Industry (Commercial)
A commercial organisation displaying outstanding/exemplary professionalism and has played a significant role in the outdoor community/industry. The organisation may have achieved this through providing an exceptional contribution which has resulted in significant outcomes.

Outstanding Achievement in the Community (Organisation)
An organisation that has contributed significantly to the outdoor recreation community. The organisation may have achieved this through providing an exceptional contribution, which has resulted in significant outcomes, or through demonstrating commitment to the wider outdoor community beyond the requirements of the organisation's role.

ORIC Environmental Award
An organisation or individual that has been outstanding in their attempts to practice, promote and educate for sustainable outdoor recreation.

Award Winners will be announced at the ORIC Industry Awards Dinner, which will be held during the ORIC Conference, at the Novotel Hotel, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay, on Saturday 25th August, commencing at 6.30pm.

We hope you can join us for what will be an exciting and very entertaining evening.
