ORIC ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD

This Award will recognise an organisation that has been outstanding in their attempts to practice, promote and educate for sustainable outdoor recreation.

Award nominees may have displayed this by:-

1. Developing and implementing policies and procedures on minimal impact.
   
   
2. Positive/beneficial results of this organisations action?
   
   
3. Outstanding program developments.
   
   
4. Developing a sustainable organisation – for example recycling, minimizing use of motor vehicles or reusing building materials.

In selecting the nominee, issues that to consider include:

• Why does this organisation transcend other candidates as the highest achiever of the industry? (Specific examples and accomplishments).
  
  
• What have been the positive (beneficial) results of this organisation’s action?
