ORIC Industry Awards Conditions
- Closing date for nominations for the 2008 Nominations is 30 June 2008.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
- All nominations must be signed by an ORIC member.
Non-members may nominate through a member - contact the ORIC office for details.
- If an award category receives less than three nominations then that category will not be available for contention.
- All nominations will be assessed by the ORIC Board on nominee's accomplishments during 2007/2008.
- Nominations must address the specified issues in the criteria for each category.
- A brief biography of the nominee may also be submitted in support of the nomination.
- Submissions that exceed two A4 pages will not be accepted.
- The final decision on the Industry Awards remains with the ORIC Board.
Awards will be presented in four categories.
1. Contribution to the Industry (Individual)
2. Contribution to the Industry (Commercial)
3. Achievement in the Community (Organisation)
4. ORIC Environmental Award
Award winners will receive well-deserved recognition at
2008 Outdoor Recreation Industry Awards Dinner
