The 6 Day Leader's WER training program is designed for people wishing to gain an advanced qualification in Wilderness First Aid & Emergency Response to work as an outdoor guide/instructor/facilitator. This course is suitable for people wishing to update skills and knowledge from past Leader's Wilderness First Aid courses that have faded over time, or for people preparing themselves for careers that will take them into wilderness areas, or for those undertaking a Certificate in Outdoor Recreation requiring these mandatory qualifications.

Qualifications:
This is a Wilderness First Aid Qualification awarding the following nationally recognised Units of Competency:
- HLTFA301B - Apply first aid (WorkCover Approved)
- HLTFA402B - Provide advanced first aid (WorkCover Approved)
- SRXFAD005A - Manage casualty in a remote and/or isolated area
- SRXEMR001A - Respond to emergency situations
- SRXOHS001B - Follow defined occupational health & safety policies & procedures

Post-course case study assignment
