THE REAL RISKS OF KAYAKING
When asked to talk about the risks involved in kayaking, inland paddlers will picture paddlers trapped in strainers, sea kayakers will picture great white sharks and howling winds. The real picture of what has changed people's lives is quite different and poorly understood.
From an analysis of 9 years of incident reports and two studies I set about separating fears and fiction from the real statistical facts.
Being a good leader is still about preparation and decisive action. What to prepare and how to prepare for action is the key.
