HEALTHY PARKS HEALTHY PEOPLE
There are clear links between green space and health and that contact with nature and green space are essential to the wellbeing of people in many ways to optimise their full potential, as well as providing many societal benefits.
Those involved in the outdoor recreation and outdoor education industry sector, share many core values in the environmental/education/protected areas space. How can we use these concepts in the development of our programs, heighten awareness of the value of green space and encourage collaborations that reunites nature with social and individual health. |
