A NIGHT ALTERNATIVE

Imagine strolling through the Australian bush at night time and observing the native critters, many of which are nocturnal, in their natural environment without the aid of a torch.

Imagine being able to see everything that is going on around you instead of being limited to a slim beam of artificial torch light.

Add to the experience a knowledgeable tour guide and this is exactly what Vision Walks have created for visitors to the Nightcap National Park, bushland outside of Lismore and Fleays Wildlife Park on their Night Vision Walks.

Arguably one of the best uses for military technology found to date, Night Vision Goggles are used on the Night Vision Walks to amplify the available light, allowing visitors to easily observe nocturnal animals when they are at their most active.

In this session Wendy Bithell the Managing Director of Vision Walks will let you try out the night vision goggles. She will outline the safe and effective conditions of use of the goggles. Then the group will discuss other possible uses of the goggles.
