The AGM shall be held in accordance with the rules, regulations and provisions as set
out in the ORIC constitution. The following information will act as a reminder about voting rights.
- Each member and each Life Member shall have one (1) vote at General Meetings.
- Member’s voting rights, must subject to these Rules, be exercised by its delegate or by proxy.
- A Member is not entitled to vote at an Annual General Meeting of ORIC (NSW) unless all money due and payable by the member is received or is no more than three months in arrears.
- A Life Members' voting rights must be exercised personally by that Life Member.
- Associate Members have no voting rights at ORIC (NSW) meetings.
You need to be a fully paid up ordinary member before you can vote.
The delegate for voting for ordinary members is the person listed on ORIC’s database as the nominated representative for that organisation.
If you wish to vote, please check who your delegate is, and they either need to attend, or a proxy form needs to be completed and signed.
Proxy Forms must be received by the ORIC office
by 22 August 2008, 24 hours prior to the meeting
If you wish to nominate/stand for a position on the ORIC Board
the Nomination Form needs to be completed and returned
to the ORIC office by 15 August 2008.
All members are encouraged to attend the AGM.
