NSW AAS Information Forums

The Outdoor Recreation Industry Council (ORIC) is conducting a series of free Information Forums on the development the NSW Adventure Activity Standards (NSW AAS), from the 27th April through to the 13th May 2009.

Adventure Activity Standards are voluntary guidelines describing industry-recognised minimum standards of practice for a number of specific adventurous activities.

Stage 1 of the NSW AAS Project will see the development of NSW AAS Guidelines for the following activities:

  • Abseiling
  • Bushwalking
  • Canoe & Kayak
  • Challenge Ropes Course
  • Mountain Biking
  • Rock Climbing

Forums will form part of the industry consultation process, and will be held across NSW starting on the 27th April until 13th May 2009.
